Lead Evangelist Visits South-West Churches

The Abuja Church 10th Anniversary Service
A 12 day missionary visit to the South-West Nigerian Churches aimed at inspiring, strengthening, encouraging and re-positioning the Churches for maturity, stability, growth and expansion was embarked by the lead evangelist of the Lagos Church, Evangelist Chris Ogbonnaya and the Church’s Financial Administrator, Mr. Sam Onuoha. Churches visited by the pair include Ijebu-Ode, Ibadan, Ilorin, Kaduna and Abuja.
Ijebu-Ode

Ijebu-Ode Church
The Ijebu-Ode Church, with its meeting venue strategically located at a prime area within the town, was the first to be visited. Planted in 2005, with a membership approaching 20 disciples and averaging 40 in attendance weekly, the church has two well equipped and furnished offices for the Administrator and Church leader with internet enabled computer systems. There is a feel of sense of family within the congregation, unity and complete absence of dissension within the church. They also have very good financial plan of making monthly savings towards renewal of their meeting venue.
The Ibadan Church

The Ibadan Church was planted in 1999 with a membership of over 50 disciples and averages 68 in attendance weekly with six bible talks spread across the city reputed as the largest in sub-Saharan Africa. The Church leader and the Administrator as well as the leadership cadre are having sound spiritual relationship, there is a passionate feeling among the congregant that the study guide and song book need to be translated into Yoruba versions.
The Ilorin Church

The Church in Ilorin was planted in 1992 and averages 110 in attendance weekly. The Church presently has 75 disciples. The meeting facility has good provision for kids’ kingdom, office and storage spaces. The Church Leader has a high indignation for evangelism and strong appetite for conversion and growth. The church has six plots of land bought at the area designated by the State government for Churches. Development of this property has started with the molding of over five hundred blocks. The Church finances are stable and growing.
The Abuja Church

Planted in 1999 and averaging 216 in attendance weekly, the Abuja Church is one of the fastest growing churches in the movement. They are currently 13 bible discussions located in the Nation’s capital and the church also oversees 2 Seed Fellowship, made up of predominately students, in Jos and Makurdi. With a membership fast approaching the 130 mark, the Church leadership with the congregants seems to have a high zeal for evangelism and strong appetite for conversion and growth.
The Kaduna Church

The Disciples in Kaduna
Planted in 1999 in the predominantly Muslim city of Kaduna, the church currently has 7 disciples with an average weekly attendance of 14. The church meeting venue is strategically located and very decent and there is a high zeal for evangelism and strong appetite for conversion and growth.
The church, together with the others visited, appealed that the church in Lagos should always remember them in prayers.
