HOW TO HELP YOUR MINISTRY STAFF.
Rolayo Ogbonnaya
You take care of a vital aspect of the overall Ministry. Taking care of the Kingdom Kids is taking care of an integral part of the Church. Therefore your Ministry leader needs to:
1. Understand Issues that need to be communicated, and communicated regularly. On the other hand, know which issues you can handle on your own and go ahead to do so.
2.Ensure specific communication and reports become a norm. This will help raise and maintain high standards in the KK. For example, names of absent teachers, time clocked in by latecomers e.t.c. Vague reports do little to help us deal with problems.
3. Be Flexible. As we have smaller services, we must be prepared for exigencies. The golden rule is that the standard must not drop. ALL CLASSES MUST HOLD. Our approved materials must be used. Be open and responsive to ideas from your ministry staff. There is a reason WHY they are making that suggestion.
4. Be Creative. We NEED Coordinators who have ideas. When they are YOUR ideas, you will be excited to implement them. This will be a big relief to your Ministry.
5.KNOW the Ministry. For example, both names of children and teachers. Your influence will extend beyond the KK days and classes. You must be matured to deal with the different situations as they come.
