" This is the happiest day of my life and I wish to thank my parents and all the disciples who stood by me all through out the period of my studies. I have lots of role models in the church, some were even baptized as teenagers, and their lifestyles really convicted me to become and disciple of Christ. As a teenager myself, I just can't wait to take the message of salvation to my friends!"

" I always see Disciples worship and evangelise in my neighborhood. They have so much passion and joy in their service to God. I decided it was a kind of fellowship I need and so I joined their easter midweek service and was blown away when the leader started washing everyone's feet! That night, I made a decision of been a Disciple. A brother, Jacob Obeh, asked if I would love to study the scriptures and i said "yes"! I did not regreted it one bit,for everyday, I keep learning something new and enriching. The study that impacted me the most is The Kingdom study which opened up my eyes to see the need to repent, get baptised and be added in God's Church."... Tayo Adewole-Ojo/Apapa Region |

Margaret Njoku,Ojo/Apapa Region, a part- time student of Lagos State University, Isolo Campus, and also a visitor to the jointly held Women's Day by the Oshodi/Isolo and Ojo/Apapa Regions, recently got baptized after studying the Bible for close to three weeks. " The first though that passed through my mind when I finished studying Discipleship was, "how come these has been in the Bible all this while and i havent seen it?" Studying the Word was a big challenge for me. Giving up everything for God is a command God takes very seriously but most times we can be swayed by our desires to keep a part of our lives back. I thank God for the grace of His strenght because it wont be possible without that. I have to admit that my baptism into the Body of Christ has opened my eyes to see that there are other people like me who is earnestly searching for the Truth and I have a responsibility now to reach out to such people." |

“I’m ecstatic and joyous that I can complete my studies and get baptized. Indeed no joy can be compared to this. I wish to thank God too for bringing disciples and discipleship my way. I was a religious kind of guy before I met Lawrence, who studied the Word with me. My first impression of the Church then was weird since I don't even know the man next seat to me in my former denomination but here; I hugged and almost shook hands with everyone! Never felt so important in my life before like when I first came to church and met other brothers, who took special interest in me. The bible also opened up my eyes to the fact that lots of so called Christians don't even know the half of it! Then we did light and darkness study, and I saw the NEED to be urgent in getting saved and getting my friends and family members saved too...Its been great been baptized a disciple of Jesus and I just cant wait to express my joy by winning lots of souls for Christ!" Michael Ani, Ojo/Apapa Region |

“My elder brother, Luke Ezeja first invited me to Church and it was like a new and incredible experience for me. Getting to meet lots of Teenagers who were not concerned with the things of this world was really cool for me and I didn't know the Bible had lots of answers for most of my life's questions till a sister, Onyinye, started studying with me. I used to think evangelism was for a specific kind of people till I did the Discipleship study and saw, quite clearly, that it was a command for anyone who wants to be a disciple. The Cross study too could melt any heart of stone just to see that Christ didn't just die for my sins but that He was killed by my sin! My baptism into the Body means so much to me and I thank God and everyone He used to help me enter His light!" Mabel Ezeja, Ojo/Apapa Region |

Restoration...
“I wish to apologize to the church and to God, especially, and to seek for forgiveness. I did what is wrong in the eyes of the Lord and wish to be accepted back in the fold. I thank everyone for being there for me even while I left the faith. I've been away for close to 3 years now but believe me; the world has nothing to offer us. I want to come back and work for God like I've never worked before I hope He can accept me back."
Austin Akpan, Ojo/Apapa Region |
