Affiliation

The International Church of Christ - Nigeria is affiliated to the International Churches of Christ Worldwide, a non-denominational group of Christians, with Churches in over 70 nations spread across Asia, the Americas, Europe and Africa.

In Nigeria , the Church was first planted in Lagos in 1989 by a set of Christians from London (20 in number) some of whom were Nigerians and a few Britons. The Church in Lagos has planted Churches in other parts of Nigeria and in the West Africa sub-region such as Abuja , Benin , Calabar Ibadan, Ilorin , Ijebu-Ode, Kaduna , Warri, Port Harcourt , and Asaba. Others are Cotonou , Accra , Banjul , Freetown , Bissau , Njamena and Conakry.

The Church is highly detribalised, as people from all walks of life, men and women of all races constitute her membership.
