2014 Egbeda Region Men’s Day – Take a Bold Step

The Egbeda Region Men’s Day has come and gone, but the impact will obviously remain for a long time to come. The day was Sunday, November 30^th at the regional meeting facility and the theme for the day was ‘Take a Bold Step’.

Wale Oni, the region’s evangelist, gave the opening speech by stating that ‘The first duty of man is to conquer his fear, he must get rid of it. Until then, he cannot act’.

The invited guest speaker, Elder Imagbe Igbinoba did a great job by exhorting and admonishing the men to take a bold step in doing what is godly in the eyes of God using the examples of five biblical men to drive home his encouraging message.

A response from the audience was evident that hearts were touched. Side attractions at the event include a theme song rendered by a talented musical group.

Also, Taiwo Daramola, a professional physical fitness instructor, gave some tips to the men on physical fitness and its benefits. About a dozen friends and visitors attended the event and surely left encouraged as most of the day’s impact was definitely reserved for members of the region by God and to him be the glory.
